You’re not underqualified. You’re undertranslated.

Your experience didn’t lose its value. It’s just being misread.

Most educators aren’t underqualified. Their experience just isn’t being understood the right way.

I help educators translate what they’ve built into language that leads to interviews, offers, and higher paying roles.

As a district level supervisor with over 30 years in education, I’ve evaluated, hired, and now coach educators, leaders, and creatives through career pivots and advancement.

I’ve seen how quickly things change when your experience is positioned at the level you’re already operating.

Most people don’t need more experience. They need their experience to be seen more clearly.

If you’re an educator, leader, or creative who knows you’re capable of more, but aren’t being seen that way yet, this is for you.

The Rejection-Proof Educator

Coming December 2026 from Amplify Publishing

A practical framework for translating your experience into real opportunities and higher paying roles.

Why strong candidates still get overlooked

You’ve done everything right. You have experience, leadership, and results. And still, you’re getting overlooked.

Not because you’re unqualified.

Because your experience isn’t being understood the way it should be.

Most strong candidates don’t have a skill problem. They have a positioning problem.

RejectionProofCareer resources for educators and creatives pivoting into higher-paying roles

From Rejection to Rebrand

I’m Jason Leshowitz, founder of RejectionProofCareer and a longtime district level educational leader turned career strategist.

Over the years, I started noticing the same frustrating pattern again and again:

Talented educators and creatives were being overlooked, not because they lacked ability, but because nobody had ever taught them how to translate their experience into language hiring teams and decision-makers immediately recognized and valued.

That realization eventually became RejectionProofCareer.

What started as conversations helping educators rethink their résumés, interviews, and professional positioning has grown into a larger framework built around career visibility, leadership communication, and helping people stop underselling the level they’re already operating at.

Today, through coaching, workshops, speaking engagements, free resources, and The Rejection-Proof Educator, I help educators, creatives, adjuncts, and higher education professionals reposition themselves for stronger opportunities, better compensation, and careers that reflect the actual value they bring to the table.
